About

The Wheel

A toddler plays with toy cars in grandma’s closet using shoes with heels as inclines.

I am interested in memory work and interviewing memory workers. If you fit the vibe, crash into me

The Vibe

Millennial, as in epoch-forming
21st century, in the symbiotic sense
Archival, in the form of parallel truths
Californian: Sunny, ocean waves, sandy beaches
Driving really fast on an empty highway with the windows down and the night sky ahead

Registration

HW&Hh publishes memory work in the form of interviews and creative content.

Alejandra Hernández

Editor,

Woman first, mother second has been the driving force behind many of my decisions over the past sixteen years, including the decision to answer an elusive call through poetry.

I’m from San Diego and have no aspirations to leave; San Diego is too beautiful.

My cousins are my best friends. Nothing matters without them. Without them there is no love, no poetry.

Thank you to my early subscribers for making this project possible for the first six months it was active in 2025. Support for the arts is slim nowadays, support for literature within arts funding is even less. Your contributions mean the world to me!
